Hello, I’m Stephen and Narrowboat Coffee is run from my floating home while travelling England’s canals.

We sell eight coffees, four blends, three single origin and one decaffeinated, each named in celebration of one of England’s canals

There’s a challenge all boaters with small businesses share promoting our products. We’re lone voices in the vastness of the internet. So I had an idea about how we might be able to help each other out and I’ve set up Boaters.Shop to sell my coffee alongside great products from other boaters and waterside businesses.

Rose & Grace – Boat Prints

I’m Rebekah and I’ve been boating from a very early age. I have a particular  interest in historic boats and live on a converted 1940’s barge in Cheshire, with my husband and two daughters, a cat, dog and 8 chickens.*

I am a digital artist primarily, and draw people’s boats and homes in Procreate on my iPad Pro. They are all drawn from scratch with a high level of detail involved. The sketches are then printed as a fine art giclee print and can be framed professionally should you wish.

GillyFlower – Narrowboat Weaver

I hand weave, as I bob about on the water, using my lovely Rigid Heddle looms Scarves, Wraps, Throws & Bedrunners. You, the client, chooses your own colour combination and because I weave  in ‘stream of consciousness’ I choose the design, which means that no two items will ever be the same, giving my clients a fabulous, unique piece.

I use a mix of reclaimed and new wools to save waste.
