Andy and Katrina are a husband and wife team who have lived on the inland waterways for nearly ten years and have been CRT Registered Roving Traders for more than two years.
A.J. Fenders trademark products are top quality, hand-made fenders. They use only premium rope and solid rubber, and they take as much care making them as they would if they were for their own boat.
Andy says; “Throughout our boating life, we have seen so many rough and shabby fenders. This is why we’ve set up A.J. Fenders – to make sure you don’t have this problem. The top-quality materials used in all our bow and stern fenders, make our products very hard-wearing and prevent the droopy look. We ensure that our fenders do exactly what they’re supposed to do and that they stand the test of time”.
Offering a personal service is at the heart of everything Andy and Katrina do.
As well as off-the shelf, ready to go products, different sized fenders can be made for your narrowboat, widebeam or dutch barge to your own particular specifications and personal requirements.
They also sell ropes, shackles and a range of other boat hardware products from their base in Sawley on the River Trent on the border of Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire.
